Caracol Radio, in its latest article, presents an original alternative for Glamping near Medellín.

In El Peñol, Antioquia, there is a tourist project called Containers & Hobbit Glamping. It is a place built from scratch with underground rooms. The rooms have beds, jacuzzis, and other spaces constructed in the same manner. This project is the dream come true for a married couple who moved to this peaceful area in eastern Antioquia. From there, they can see the reservoirs and enjoy the starry sky at night.

Within the space, there are two types of constructions: some are containers made from recycled scrap (30 tons) and other parts are designed as hobbit zones to be closer to the natural environment.

Jairo Álvarez is the entrepreneur responsible for this incredible place, which combines sustainability with a unique experience in contact with nature.
